I kicked the idea of a Jumping Jack around for sometime, maybe 1-2 years. As an owner of a newer 1/2 truck, I struggled with getting outdoors and taking my toys with me. Ive had a tent now for 11 years and I always struggled utilizing my 5.5 bed with my gear, family and toys. Purchased a smaller utility trailer and realized it barley made the cut to haul my ATV around. I knew I wanted a trailer that I can take my family outdoors in and not spend days maintaining. I wanted simple. I finally sat down with my wife and made the decision to buy a Jumping Jack. I didnt need nor do I want to upgrade an already new truck, I decided a Jumping jack was the best of all worlds. Light weight, even with up to 3 atvs, water, propane rack I am not pushing my truck to its limits. Im glad I went the extra step and got the 6x12 mid with 8 tent. I finally used the trailer in October and we saw everything. Wind, rain, snow, sleet and sun. On a 6 day hunting trip, I can say my MR. Big Buddy on Medium was having me kick the sleeping bags off at night even with temps in the teens. This trailer saved me from a bigger purchase but still lets me boondock with all the essentials I need! It goes great, distributes weight well when loaded. Its worth it for me, the extra deck space is great for coolers, the deck under the wing supports is great for putting gear in while towing, a great porch while it is up. If your on the fence and dont mind tents! Do it! It was much better this year having more storage for simple things while towing! The buying experience was great! Ordered in June and despite a supply chain issue I picked it up in September! I look forward to many more trips!

Jumping jack saved our vacation. I drove over a piece of tire on the freeway and it hit the chains and flipped up and tore out the trailer wiring connector. We called late in the day and they helped fix us right away.

My wife and I have looked at the JJ trailers for a couple of years. Took the plunge this spring 2020 and have camped nearly every weekend since. Desert ,mountains, wind, snow and it's been awsome. We're both 6' and this setup is comfy and roomy. A small heater buddy can warm it so fast it will run you out. Completely satisfied.

love that it fits all our toys and gives us a place to lay our head! first time out it rained all night and the next day, everything stayed dry inside!

I have the 6x12 with the 8ft tent. I really like this setup. It has a quality build on both the tent and the trailer. The first night out we got rained on all night long and the tent held up great.

Picked up my 6x8 JJ trailer today! The trailer is built really well and you can see and feel the quality. Robbie was very helpful and took the extra time at the end of the day to show me all the details and to setup all the accessories. Looking forward to my first camping trip with the family! Thanks!!

Our family loves our Jumping Jack behind our JK Unlimited. We are the envy of the campground every year. The ability to haul all the firewood we want is the best feature.

John and his crew at the shop have been great to work with from day one! I've had a blast with my X4 this summer! I can't wait to "accessorize it" a bit over the winter and drag it around the state a lot more next year!

Been on rough roads hauling 2 larger quads. It's been easy and a lot of fun. There are so many extra little things you can rig up to spoil yourself. Love ours.

Great product, and well built. As a licensed hunting guide, I'm pretty rough on all my gear and my Jumping Jack Trailer has passed every test that I have put it through. The guys at Jumping Jack Trailers are some of the best out there. They build an awesome product and are willing to stand behind everything that leaves their warehouse. Not to mention the customer service. They take the time to answer questions/concerns over the phone or in person. Highly recommended.

We bought our first Jumping Jack (standard 6x8) back in 2007 here in Northern California. After a cross-country camping trip with the wife and kids where we were drenched in massive Tennessee rain storm in our ground tent, we knew we needed to get up off the ground. I found Jumping Jack out on the interwebs one day, and knew that was what we needed. I really liked the ruggedness and durability of the trailer, fast set-up and take-down, the ability to fit the whole family for sleeping, the ability to tow it with my old Jeep, being able to store it in the garage, and its multi-use as tent, toy-hauler, and utility trailer. My wife was skeptical when I made my case, and only agreed to go look at them if I promised not to buy one that day...ONLY looking was allowed! So, I agreed. When she saw the Jumping Jack for the first time, she was amazed at the spacious interior. SHE was the one that insisted on buying it, so we did!Since then, we camped with our kids all over the United States and Canada. It went to 46 of the lower 48 states. After 13 years of camping in it, we thought we wanted to try a teardrop trailer. So we let our (now older) kids and their young families take custody of the Jumping Jack. As it turns out, though, we didn't like the teardrop nearly as much as the Jumping Jack. However, we decided we didn't want to take our Jumping Jack back from the kids, since they were all loving it. So we bought our second Jumping Jack (a standard 6x8 model...again!). And somewhere in between the two Jumping Jacks, my mom and step-dad also bought a Jumping Jack, so there are actually three in our family now.If you've never experienced camping in a canvas tent, let me tell you...it's amazing. It's warmer when it's cold outside, and cooler when it's warm. It's heavy, which is sometimes a problem for a canvas ground tent; but on a trailer, it's not an issue at all. You do need to make sure the canvas is dry before storing it, but it's not difficult whatsoever. And the Jumping Jack canvas holds up well; we've had it in all types of weather and geography imaginable, and never once questioned its ability to keep us happy. This includes high winds in the sand dunes, hot desert sun, freezing snow and ice, massive rain storms, you name it. THis trailer excels at off-grid camping and overlanding. At the same time, there is something very nostalgic about canvas, and it fits in perfectly at family campgrounds. The durability of the trailer is phenomenal. It's steel. It's overbuilt. We've abused Jumping Jacks on washboard roads and rocks, and they always come through with flying colors. We had a deer run across the highway in front of us in Missouri a few years ago. We managed to avoid hitting it with our vehicle, but it was a direct hit to the passenger-side fender. Though we lost a marker light (it was the older rectangular-style that stuck out more, not the newer recessed round lights), the fender didn't budge. Not a single dent or scratch. Try doing that with other trailers! We have two modes of camping: parked in one spot for days at a time, and cross-country expedition where we are domewhere different every day. The Jumping Jack does both just fine. Though I might occasionally tow with the old Jeep, we like having our big diesel truck (massive overkill!) with a drawer system in the back that holds our camping gear; it's very convenient. But in the past, we've also just used some bungees and strapped some plastic totes to the top of the trailer. And that's another great thing about the Jumping Jack: it's incredibly versatile and easy to mold into something that exactly suits our preferences. One last comment about customer service: it's superb. Over the years, we've had questions or needed something, and it was addressed immediately with a simple call to Jumping Jack. This is how customer service should be. Yet another reason that we're lifelong fans of this awesome company and the people behind it. Thank you for the years of family camping memories. Looking forward to many, many more.
